  1. Good Morning from Omaha,

that is hilarious! I love football and have been limited to one game a day. and with classes on Monday, tuesday and thursday I will miss most of the thursday openers but oh well. there is always another game.

As far as Chan gaily and the chiefs goes, Chan was the offense coordinator under Herm edwards and was a holdover with todd hailey and his new plans for the chiefs. As Larry Johnson put it “there were too many roosters in the hen house”. Gailey is working for the chiefs in some other capacity but not directly with the team. good luck to Todd and his one man empire. todd wants to cut back his required time with the media and spend more time building the team. Once again, we shall see. I really hope that Brody Croyle doesn’t get hurt during the game against rams, although thigpen is just as good and a lot tougher.

the season starts ready or not!

Strive for excellence, nothing but your best.

  2. There is almost too much football on tv during the week, then when the Nuggets start its sports almost every night in my house. I think that the wife gets a little upset sometimes but she mostly enjoys alot of the games that we choose to watch. Thank God she is not like the cartoon wife in the picture above! I do some sports betting during the year so we all bennefit when I win. I tell all the guys out there it beats the hell out of watching Real World, Road Rules Challenge! YUCK! I hate reality TV. With a Passion! Hope there is some great shows like Family Guy and American DAD this year. I felt a little cheated from only six or seven episodes during the fall/winter season. Enjoy the TV year Everyone!! Good sports and good times.

  3. TIVO!!!!!!!!!

There is a delicate balance between marital bliss and football. I solve it by watching the recorded games at night after avioding Sportscenter. This first week of action there are no less than 4 college games I am interested in and next week the Pros add to my wife’s frustration. A TIVO game runs about an hour so I can watch three for the price of one after my wife retires for the evening. Yes, I might miss the bands, the cheerleaders, and the commercials to get a beer. But I miss no action and can replay any time I want to.

I do miss Bermen..he..could..go ..all..the ..way. But it’s a small price to pay for HD live action at 10PM.
