Scores. They are the very essence of sports. Yet they seem to take such a backseat these days to the stories better suited for the News section. Oh well, those were the days when the scores were everything.

  1. Good Morning from Omaha,

I don’t know if the world has changed or sports figures are no longer considered “celebrities” like they were back in the day. Maybe they have a bad case of the deserves or maybe they really are just “bad”people.

I don’t like to paint with the broad brush, as we all make mistakes, just check my spelling in some of my comments, but to make the same mistake over and over again, that might be a sign of a problem.

lets have more scores and highlights and less headlines and problems.

Strive for excellence, nothing but your best.

  2. Alot of the sports broadcasts have been about news, news, news! Im sick of it! ESPN is notorious for that! Sometimes I only go on the internet and look up my scores, it helps me break out of goin home and turning on the sports channels or the local broadcasts. It kinda reminds me of when MTV played music videos and now its all stupid reality crap. I do like to watch the TO’s and Ocho Cinco’s of sports for some comedy relief but the Vick and Burress stories were beat to a pulp from the media. I also like to check the top ten plays and not so top ten plays.

Good luck to the Nuggets in the upcoming season and I am gearing up for ROCKTOBER! GO ROX!!
