This is a cartoon I did this week for North Metro News on the nuances of coaching in this day and age. Three of my good friends are coaches. Kyle Banister, is a baseball coach, Mark Wolf, who used to work at the Rocky, is a basketball coach and Debbie Minter, who is a world class ice skating coach. I admire these guys who are mentoring young athletes. The idea for the cartoon wasn’t based on any of their experiences but the technology today certainly is a challenge for parents everywhere.

I’m on the road for the next few days and so my blogging schedule might be a bit different. I might even do some sketchbook kinds of things form some of the things I’m seeing on my travels. So stay tooned.

I’m still stunned about the tragic news regarding Colorado Rockies president Keli McGregor. My thoughts and prayers go out to the entire Rockies family. Feel free to leave your condolences.
