Dispatches from the Drawing Board: I’m reminded this time of year and in the midst of more snow here in Colorado how much I miss my jaunts to Arizona for spring training. Don’t care much for the political climate there, but, oh, catching some sun in the 1st base bleachers can’t be beat. I think every one should be given one free week in Key West during the months of January, February or March. Did I mention I’m tired of the cold and snow? I’ve had a few comments from people who think I should be drawing more NBA cartoons. I try but tend to, much like the players, sleep through the 2nd and 3rd quarters of it. I find soccer more compelling than NBA basketball. Just saying. Actually I find watching bowling more compelling than NBA basketball. Yeah. It’s that bad. I AM, however looking forward to March Madness. Don’t know how I feel about this years NASCAR season. The level of road rage in the sport is now starting to remind me a little too much of the traffic on I-25. Bumper to bumper and fist to fist.
