Starting tomorrow in the Boulder Daily Camera

Starting tomorrow I’ll be drawing Buffs cartoons for the Boulder Daily Camera! I’ll draw one each week the day of the game, kind of a preview cartoon if you will called Drew on CU. Also the Daily Camera has already set up a place where you can got to order prints, t-shirts and other fun stuff from all of the Buffs cartoons I’ll be doing. How cool is that. Again my thanks to Jen Osieczanek as well as editor Kevin Kaufman for making this happen and giving me a chance to to do something I love, drawing for the fans of Colorado and the Buffs!

Congratulations Drew. I know working for a local paper was something you were hoping for.
I’m excited for you about this!
I can’t wait to see what you come up with for your cartoons!
Awesome. What a treat for Boulder. It is like the Dirk West toons I grew up seeing on Gameday in the local paper.
Congratulations, Drew!!!
I am so excited for you, and for all of the CU faithful. 🙂

GR8 fun! Looking forward to more cartoons!
good evening from a hospital bed in Omaha,
great job drew. hope that the rest of your work for the camera is a funny as your preview.
strive for excellence, nothing but your best.
Gene
Gene, What’s up. Are you OK?
Dear Drew,
First of all congrats on the job with the Camera. This is one of the few times in my life I can talk about Boulder without there being a punchline to it. Personally i’m looking forward now to the C.U. game against UCLA just to see what kind of cartoon you’ll do about former C.U. coach Rick Nuhisal (I know I botched the spelling so forgive me) provided he’s still the coach since I hear he’s on the hot seat this year.
I wish I had a bottle of champagne so I could toast you success.
All the best
Louis
P.S. Gene, I’m sorry you’re currently in a hospital bed in Omaha. I’ll keep you in my thoughts and prayers. Now that I’m over a number of the health problems I’ve had this year I don’t want anybody to feel ill. So get well, listen to the doctors, and don’t flirt to much with the pretty nurses.
Congrats Drew….good for you and the Camera!
