Good Morning from Omaha,
Johnny football is now a sophomore in college. no excuses- but he has the money from his family to enjoy life and that seems to be what he is doing. Does he make some dumb decisions, yes. What sophomore in college does not make bad choices.
I hope he figures it out and gets his proverbial ducks in a row, soon. He has so much talent on the field that it would be a shame to see it washed down life gutter so don’t just go tsk tsk so early in his career.
If last year was a fluke we shall soon see. The SEC is too good to not adjust to his game just as a pitcher knows what pitches a hitter tends to swing at and then throws him something else.
If his team has the talent similar to last years he will be fine but the heisman puts a big target on his back so you best be ready for that sophomore slump.
OK- now thats an excuse.
Strive for excellence, nothing but your best.
Gene
Looks like Johnny Football isn’t the only one guilty of breaking the rules…or, as we say: Pot, meet Kettle”:
