This is one of those cartoons that might not have made it in print, but here, well the time was just right for this gag. The Nuggets dominated game 4 of the Western Conference Finals and evened the series. The Nuggets were ferocious on the boards all night. The difference between these two teams and the reason why I think the Nuggets will win this thing. The Bench. The Lakers simply don’t have one. The Birdman was his usually electric self, flying often into the rafters for rebounds and causing chaos with those flailing arms…uh…wings of his. It’s a sight to behold ain’t it? I think the nuggz found what it takes to beat these guys, slow down kobe and out rebound everyone else!
Maybe they looked pooped because they were the only team to play hard in Game 3…..
Or maybe they seemed tired because they aren’t in good enough shape to play two games in denver in three days.
I’m more worried about Dhantay Jones pulling a Nancy Kerrigan on Kobe than I am Denver’s altitude…

And we all know that Kobette is a “man” of his word.
A few years ago, after my Spurs beat the Nuggets in the playoffs, I commented to the RMN crowd that you guys needed a bit more time and seasoning. See, I was right!
I support two teams in the NBA: the Spurs and whoever is playing the Lakers that day. So Go Nuggets Go! Besides, I also love it when David Stern doesn’t get his dream matchups but has to put that fake smile on at the Finals. Can anyone say Nuggets-Orlando?
