When I heard the news, I immediately imagined one of your snazzily drawn cartoons with Elway and Peyton on a Bronco (Elway in front, of course) and both reaching a hand down to Tebow with the whole entourage headed towards the Pro Football Hall of Fame . . .

Based on the other Denver paper that won’t be named here, the talking heads think Tebow is on his way out of town. Riffing on Kelli’s idea, perhaps a ‘toon of Elway and Payton galloping away on a determined-looking Bronco, with Tebow left standing in a cloud of dust with nothing more than a set of empty “2012 starter QB” reins in his hands?

PS: My $.02 on (possibly) getting Manning – great short-term idea for quick wins, but very destructive long-term idea for the team’s future.
Drew, I’m not sure it’s fair to call the Colts dead if they are going to draft Luck. I bet that in at least 3 of the next 5 years, the Colts will have a better record than the Broncos.
