Public Enemies

The War of the Public Enemies
I’m a huge Johnny Depp fan and can’t wait to see his newest movie “Public Enemies”. I was, of course, particularly fond of the films title because it plays right into baseball’s ugliest family feud, the Yankees vs. the Red Sox. So here’s a cartoon that goes out to the boys of summer.
Don’t forget our caption contest for the week which is winding down. Get those last minute entries in pronto.

Good Morning from Omaha,
Great cartoon,Drew. It could also be about the rivalry between the teams in the AFC west, but you are right in general people either love or hate the Yankees.
How do you do it?
Strive for excellence, nothing but your best.
Gene
Red Sox or Yankees? That’s easy – go Blue Jays.
As for Johnny Depp, he should make more movies like “Public Enemies” where he’s a normal human being (i.e. What’s Eating Gilbert Grape, Secret Window, The Ninth Gate). No more wierdos or anything that Tim Burton directs.
George,
Ahh, but Depps creation of some of those characters are one of the things that makes him great. His Jack Sparrow character is one of the best ever put on film.
Gene,
Glad to have you back. I think there are a lot of those love-hate relationships in sports. Texas-Oklahoma, Raiders-Broncos, Alabama-Auburn, the list could go on forever really.
