Shock and sadness for Steve McNair
I’m stunned and very saddened by the tragic news about Steve McNair who was shot to death on Saturday in Nashville. I always thought McNair was one of those who played the game with his whole heart. He always gave it everything and often played hurt. He was what you hope every NFL player should be. A teammate, a warrior, and a shining example of achievement. He will be missed.

This has to be the biggest shock in the NFL since Darrent Williams.
It is so very sad and should never have happened. May God be with his family..his friends and team mates.

Steve McNair was a very good NFL quarterback, who could have helped any team with just his being there.
We really don’t know what goes on off the field. from all outward appearances he was a stand up kind of guy. we just don’t know

McNair was a heck of a competitor and a winner whenever he was on the field. He did some great things for the community.
I feel bad for his wife as well, who no doubt was dealing with the shock of her husband not only being murdered, but also murdered with the 20 year-old with whom he was having an affair with.
McNair clearly was a conflicted person. I knew that when I drew this. But I felt he meant as much to Tennessee as Elway does to Denver. So This one goes out to Titan fans.
