This one will go down as one of my all time favorites. The kicker to this gag was adding Charlie Brown, who defines losers everywhere. Poor Buffs. This wouldn’t be happening if they had just gone to the Mountain West conference where they belong. A Big tip of the hat to my good pal, Taylor Osieczanek, for the idea to put Ralphie in a support group. It worked fabulously, sir!

Just a Note: I don’t solicit ideas. Like, EVER. It’s just my nature to do this gig on my own. But Taylor is a great friend from my days at the Rocky, a former journalist himself, and he’s married to my editor at the Daily Camera. His suggestion was terrific, and I ran with it. I’m Glad I did. But I just thought I’d let you know it’s not the norm for me. So please, don’t bombard me with ideas. It makes me crazy.
