   Like you I don’t get it. Melo has an opportunity to be THE big fish in the denver pond. He has a great coach and seemingly all the pieces to do very well this season. And whats not to like about Denver. From out here on the plains you can see it sure isn’t KC.

   They are paying him really good money to play a “game”. I guess the sooner he ships out the sooner the Nuggets can end all of this “Melo”drama and get about the business of winning basketball games.

   ( I just couldn’t help it, the line just hit my fingers and out it came)

4. Dear Mr. Litton,

   Now its pretty easy to take shots at Melo, especially given the recent LaBron James fiasco. In this case though I’m going to defend Melo.

   Melo has not played like a moody player, disatisfied with the team and would do anything to (bleep) the team over. In fact he has played just as hard this year as any year. So give Melo applause for being professional in his play.

   He hasn’t insulted the team. He hasn’t insulted Karl. At least as far as I’ve heard. So long as he’s playing hard we should keep him and try to see what it would take to keep him here.

   Just a thought.
