Thanks, Hawkins. It was a Real Blast!

Thank Goodness the Dan Hawkins error is over. Finally. It was ugly. It resembled intramural football. Or worse. It alienated fans, alumni and big dollar boosters. It lost money. Lots of it. But more than that it lost it’s integrity. On a Saturday afternoon when Hawkins seemed more interested in getting his son, Cody, closer to some stupid passing records than he was actually winning a game well in hand, he committed an unforgivable mistake. He put his own interests and those of his son above those of the football program he had promised to protect and preserve. He was content in this weekends loss to Kansas to throw the rest of the student athletes on his roster under the bus. In adversity, it is said, true character is revealed. Saturday the real Hawkins was exposed as a fraud whose only goal during his tenure as a head coach was to do everything he could to further his sons college football career at the expense of everyone and everything else. I’m just glad that someone at CU was finally wise enough to put an end to it all.
Last year we produced the first ever Drew Litton wall calendar. They sold very well and everyone seemed to like them. so the question begs would you buy another one this year if they were available? Please let me know.
