I enjoy Christmas music. Mostly the classic stuff like Bing Crosby, Nat King Cole, and Andy Williams. The new one by Cheryl Crow is quite good. And the one by Bebo Norman done a few years back is great as well. I love choral music this time of year too. Nothing like a huge choir in an equally huge cathedral singing “Silent Night” to get you in the mood. I’ve always love John Lennon’s song “Happy Christmas: War is Over” (and so this is Christmas and what have you done…) I think subconsciously it inspired today’s cartoon that I drew for this mornings Guadalupe County Communicator. I know. It’s not sports. But it says what I want to say about the wars we are fighting today. I just want everyone home. Peace on Earth. Good will toward men.
