The Beagle has landed in the land of Armadillos, otherwise known as Texas. Still getting settled in and getting used to the surroundings and the, shall we say, rather warm climate. The journey down here from Colorado was eventful, to say the least. Too much to go into here but it was a fantastic trip. I worked on the road, drawing from the Guadalupe County Communicator Offices in Santa Rosa, New Mexico and hotel rooms along the way. Deadlines never cease, thank God. So here are a few pieces that I’m finally getting around to posting. I’ll venture out tonight to a local Dallas sports bar to try and catch the Broncos first preseason game. I’ll post some kind of update on that on Friday. Might not be a cartoon but then again, ya never know.
