See No Evil

And so the horror scene at Penn State continues. A cover-up of epic proportions, followed by an entire program who just refused to see the wrong in the whole thing. How? I’m not sure how.

I promise I won’t keep going back to the Penn State mess over and over again in cartoons, but given the nature of this sickening scandal we have to stand up and be heard, in hopes that this never happens again.

  1. Dear Drew,

Like you I am sickened over the whole incident. I’m starting to get concerned that soon this incident is going to turn into the football equivilant of the “Salem Witch Hunts” or the “McCarthy Communist Hunt” of the 50’s where just being accused will have everybody saying you’re guilty.

I agree I hopes this never happens again. I’m just sickened that it happened the first time.

    All the best

  2. GoodMorning from OMaha,

The fire has been lit. The smoke will be cleared, legally. Every day there are more revelations about what might have happened. More should have been done to protect the children at Penn State. The people involved did what they are legally required to do, to this date! Morally more should have been done.

The law will be changed and there is a special place in purgatory for people like those involved in this mess.

Strive for excellence, nothing but your best.

  3. It will take some time for the legal process to clear the smoke and put in place a few more laws to help people do what they should have morally done. In the mean time perhaps we could focus a bit on the loss of “Smokin’ Joe Frazier” and the positive things he did with his life after boxing.

I think this says it all, it is not football’s fault– it is people choosing not to get involved or not doing the right thing.
