The settlement between the NFL and the former players is trouble in the making. The players, who we have all watched with awe, have found the deepest pocket they can find in the NFL.
The fact that concussions can happen at any level of football play has been glossed over and the players are holding the league responsible for all of their woes. Never mind those times in high school or college where they had there proverbial bell rung. No all of the damage that was done happened during there career in the NFL and not when they were playing for “free”.
Yes the players have settled but the game at the lower levels is still going to create a lot of problems for those kids who don’t get to play the game at its highest levels. Who will compensate them for the damage that was caused to their brain?
