   My hat is off to Diana Nyad. She demonstrates what resides in each and every one of us. We all have untapped talents and abilities. As I know from personal experience, when you tap into your will, set you jaw and roll up your sleeves the fragile human is capable of fantastic things.

   Tap your inner hero- get out there and change your world. Diana has proven that the idea of never give up, never quit- those limits are set by yourself- should ring true with everyone.

3. This artwork — which is what it is: art — is so sublime. The exactness of every aspect is marvelous: The water is rendered superbly; the sun is wonderful. The swimmer is perfectly drawn. The crowning achievement is the quote. As a 60-something swimmer, I am so touched by this masterpiece. Bravo! Bravo! Bravo! (That’s a standing ovation!)

   I got goosebumps when I saw Diana Nyad pull herself ashore after finishing that swim. This drawing (doesn’t quite seem right to call it a cartoon) renders that indomitable spirit in beautiful detail. Wow… all over again.
