Good Morning from Omaha,
I love the cartoon- but Grienke is an example of everything wrong with big money sports. He is cry baby, a whiner and a pampered man child who gets what he wants and then whines when he gets it.
I am sorry about wishing harm to anyone and I am almost sure he did not mean to hit the Padre,(as it was a 3-2 count) but this event is a culmination of over 5 years of bad blood between Zach and the player for the padre’s.
Grienke’s days as a big league pitcher are almost over and he is soon to join the real world where his under educated, whiny ways will get him nowhere, quickly.
I hope he has saved some of that money he stole from the Royals and the Brewers because in the real world his act will not play.
Strive for excellence, nothing but your best.
Gene
Great cartoon, excellent headlines!
Perhaps baseball should do what hockey does – ejection and suspension for any player who leaves the bench during a fight.
