5 and Ohhh!!

It’s the shock of the NFL season. The Broncos stand at 5 and 0. Even more significant is they are starting to beat quality opponents in a part of their schedule that is the most challenging. I have to be honest, I haven’t had this much fun watching the Broncos since ’97-99. The defense is playing well enough to win (yeah, I know they escaped more than few bullets yesterday), the offense is making the plays when they need to and Kyle Orton is seriously starting to make us all say “Cutler who”? Isn’t it great to live in Colorado when the snow starts to fall and the Rockies and Broncos are in the hunt. Nothing better.

  1. Drew,

I have to brag… I flew into Denver to go to the Broncos-NE game. As my Dad I were leaving the parking lot after the OT win, we both said “let’s go to the Rockies game.” We drove near the stadium, got a pair of tickets and had a ball.

Froze several critical parts of our respective anatomy, but what a great day for Colorado sports. Two national games in one day. How awesome for us fans!!

  2. Good Morning from Omaha,

wow, what a way to start and finish off a season. 5-0 and the playoffs.

and SNOW. I heard it was warmer in the mountains, than in Denver.

Enjoy it while you have it. you never know what tomorrow is going to bring.

Strive for excellence, nothing but your best.

  3. I am happy and mad only because the Rockies were not able to pull through. MLB does not give the Rockies any respect putting us at a 8pm slot for tv viewers, and then they lose on top of it at 12:05am last night!!!!! What a disgrace, I am heated this morning!!! I should have went to bed and made it be a suprise. Rockies hitters were horrible yesterday, no one wants to decide to step up and take charge. Disappointment is not even the word this morning.

On a good note the Broncos are looking good not great but good. The 98yard drive was very impressive, I dont remember the last time that happend. I have to give Klye Orton a big pat on the back for his efforts yesterday. He did not look like Jake Plummer in the least, he was taking chances and it was working for him. Great job!! I loved Mayor McCheese riling up the crowd yesterday too!! I have not seen intensity from the coach like that in a long while.

Hats off to the Broncos and a big thumbs down for the Rockies.

  4. It’s good to see you’re back on board after the whole “if this is how the rest of the ride is, I might just get off..” or something of that sort after the PRESEASON Bears game.
