1. I’m so glad that the Blackhawks won the Stanley Cup! The last few minutes of the third period were so exciting! I can’t wait for next hockey season, and the NHL coaching debut of Patrick Roy!!! First, however, is football season – which I’ve been waiting for since January!

   I’m not giving up on the Cubbies, by the way. One day, some day, they’ll win the World Series!!!

3. Good Morning from Omaha,

   the Hawks win means a guy at work has to finally shave. He took that no shaving til the Hawks win the cup thing seriously, but now its over.

   We are about a month away from the Chiefs opening up camp this summer. I can hardly wait for football to start, again.

   Its been a while since Chicago had a team win a championship but even longer since KC has claimed a championship in anything. this morning I read where the Kansas City board of trade, which has been around KC for 157 years, is closing up shop and moving to Chicago. No baseball champs since ’85. No football Champs since ’70 and now the KC board of trade is moving to chicago…whats next? Are people going to stop playing “going to KC” ?

4. Poor Cubbies. My question is who will win the World Series first, The Chicago Cubs or the Colorado Rockies.

5. That was an INCREDIBLE game…I hate both teams, but I was glued – truly some great hockey. the only real tragedy is no Game Seven!

   Is it October yet?

6. Shouldn’t they be singing “Don’t Stop Believing”? (BTW, didn’t you use this cartoon the last time the Blackhawks won the Cup?)
