Broncos: Before and After

Uncategorized

Some things just bare repeating. This one is from March of 2009. The more things change. the more they stay the same.

I know it seems like I’m beating a dead horse. And I’m trying to use every bad pun and crummy cliche known to man. But Broncos fans are in such a state of misery I think we all need to laugh at how bad it is or be crying in our Orange Crush.

Working away on this coming Monday Match-up Madness animation. My partner in crime, Rich Moyer I spent 13 straight hours at the drawing board and computers today working on key frames. there’s a whole lotta funny in this one which features the Game of the year so far the 9-2 Jets taking on the 9-2 Patriots. It’s going to be a great game and a pretty hilarious animated cartoon.

  1. Good Morning from Omaha,

YES the bronc’o’s are bad- they are NOT KC SlayoR bad, they have been bad for over 20 years, but they are not good.

Josh made some bad choices although getting rid of Cutler isn’t one of them. Orton seems to be able to play some ball. the Bronco’s have a lot of injuries, but at this time of year which team doesn’t. I saw Sound FX on the NFL network last night and one of the games they let us listen in to was the bronco’s-Rams. Evidently Mickey D seems to think he is a lumberjack as he kept using the phrase “chopping wood, now were chopping wood!” That and his head set didn’t work at the start of the game. NOW I am just being picky!

Looking forward to your animation this next week drew.

Strive for excellence, nothing but your best.

  2. Dear Mr. Litton,

An interesting thought came to me last night. I remember years ago when man of Bill Walshes assistant coaches went on to be great coaches themselves including our own Mike Shannahan. Now maybe I just haven’t noticed it but I can’t recall a single Bill Belachick assistant who has made it big in the NFL since leaving the Patriots. Now maybe its too early to make such a comparison…..yet. Stil it seems like the only true genius at New England was the head man himself and he knew how to get the best out of his assistants and players.

    Just a thought.

    All the best

  3. I agree the Broncos franchise isn’t what it was 10 years ago, but why so much drama? If the Nuggets/Rockies/Avs/Rapids/Mammoth were this bad, there would be no way they would get this kind of attention from you or anyone else in the media. We would live our lives like it doesn’t matter. Why can’t we do the same with the Broncos? The success of our local football team should have no affect on our disposition or outlook on life.

I’ve been a loyal Bronco fan for 25 years and follow this team as closely as anyone out there, but am I in the minority for not losing sleep over their lack of success in recent years?

  4. You can lead a horse to water with all the money in the world at their disposal but you can’t make them drink even if it is Fuji. Can anyone make that saying work better in this situation?

Losing sleep over beaten dead horses is silly, but discussing ad nauseum is entertaining and cathartic. If you are losing sleep over this, try counting footballs thrown by Tebow……better fall asleep quick, tho.

  5. Qatar! Qatar gets to host the World Cup! I can’t believe it!

(Sorry, I thought we could be upset about something else this week.)

  6. Wait a second…the Broncos had one of the biggest collapses in NFL history under Shanahan and you think it was just showing cracks? C’mon Drew youre smarter than this. This team has no talent. I dont care who coaches it. Go ahead and list me the top 5 players on this team. Champ? Dawkins? Anyone else from the retirement home? Clady? A pass blocker who cant run block? I cant even come up with anyone else. This teams needs an OL and a DL. Until that happens this franchise will struggle. And it makes no difference who the coach is. The coach is just the easiest scapegoat.

  7. I know that GOD is indeed a Bronco Fan…He answered my prayer…and the angles were smiling down on Broncoville that Monday night…Job well done well done indeed…JOY JOY JOY in BRONCOVILLE TONIGHT
