   Love the idea of a calendar. You do such great work.

   One more thought on JoPa and the child abuse allegations that are coming to light. We need to, and I hate to say this, look at the protocol that was in place at the time for reporting child abuse. IF Joe followed the chain of command as proscribed then, while it is a moral failure, legally he did what was required. He should have done more. He could of done more.

   The story I heard was that sandusky was not allowed to bring kids to the football offices. So someone did say or do something and while it was not enough to change what happened years before it seem officials recognized the situation and tried to hold it at arms length.

   Its always easy to look back and spot our own failings and where we could have done more. It would seem that Joe dealt with the situation as it was required to be handled back in 1998. IF we can’t protect our children then who can we protect.

   I am also so ready to buy your calender. I’m not sure if you’ll only do payments via PAYPAL but I hope you will also have an alternative way to order it (Snail Mail with a money order or maybe a check) since I’ve had more headaches than I can describe with the PAYPAL.

   Drew I do have one request. Actually I’m more begging for this than requesting. Before you do another Penn State/Joe Paterno drawing as much as it is deserved couple you PLEASE do this request Could you do a drawing on the recent passing of Joe Frazier With boxing in general being as corrupt as this Penn State scandal, Joe Frazier came from boxing’s last “Golden Age”. It is almost a crying shame that someone as classy as Joe Frazier who never got into trouble, who took all that verbal humiliation from Muhammad Ali and never taunted back.That his passing has become so quickly dismissed in the light of this Penn State scandal.

   I pray you give serious consideration to my request.

   Can’t wait for the calendar! It will augment my printouts of your cartoons that are on my cubicle walls–its my stress reduction. A couple of my favorites were when TJ retired and you had him running down the sidelines in front of John Madden, and the one with the NE Cornhusker and OU Sooner farmers standing in the farmhouse doorway with the door open and Ralphie standing at the door with an attitude and the one of farmers said “OMG, the doormat’s alive!”, and a multitude of others!

   I know I’ve been running my mouth about Joe Frazier the last few days and I wanted to apologize for beating that subject to death.

   I just have one final thing to say on the subject then I give you my word I’ll shut up about it.

   In life Joe Frazier was overshadowed by Muhammad Ali. Now in death he is overshadowed by this Penn State scandal.
