1. Good Morning from Omaha,

   the NFL doesn’t allow gambling but that is what the draft has become. Its high stakes roll of the dice for every team.

   The teams on the top of the pile, N.O. and Indy and the like have a bit of a cushion and for now are playing with the houses money.

   Teams like Denver are breaking even. They win some, they lose some but in order to start playing with the houses money they must start winning and big with their picks or they become like detroit or st louis.

   The chief are well into their own checkbook and losing fast. for them the NFL is a big roulette wheel and they keep playing a suckers game. Hopefully, with the new player at the head of the table, (pioli)things will start to break their way.

   Same as denver. A couple of good picks and all of a sudden they will start to win. And instead of being considered the “sound proof isolation booth” of the league like detroit, st. louis and Oakland, free agents will start to give both KC and denver a serious look as a place to play like Indy or N.O.

   Good luck tonight with your draft. Whitlock in KC wants them to take Dez Braynt with their pick. Some idiot on the radio wants them to take Eric Berry and Pioli has also learned, like little Josh, from Bellicheck and is keeping his mouth shut about what they are going to do.

2. I really hope we don’t draft to the DL this year in the 1st round. We need some big OL help (mainly at C) and we have a big hole next to DJ. Also, WR is a big need, but I don’t think that Dez Bryant is the answer, we just got rid of a primadonna, we don’t need a new one. My dream draft would be a trade down to somewhere between 16-20 and then the drafting of Pouncey. Or if we stay at #11, we have to pick McClain if he is there. Of course, this is only my wish… 🙂

   Oh, and I wish we don’t draft a QB with our first 3 pick, give Brady Quinn a chance first! 🙂

   You better stick to drawing Cartoons… Pike in the second would be a bad choice and we would be right up there with the Raiders as laughing stock of the draft. I know we are talking about McDaniels but he is along ways a way from being Al Davis. I HOPE!

   I would draft Bryant…He got in trouble for lying to the NCAA about his relationship with Deion Sanders and nothing else… to me that doesn’t translate into a girlfriend hitting and DUI getting Marshall… maybe a little immature but he is just a kid.

4. I don’t have time to write up all the names, find a hat, and then pick one. I just love the suspense and anticipation, and reading the Sunday QB’s opionions.

5. It seems to me that coach McD is treating the Broncos like he is playing it on Madden. I mean get a couple of draft picks in the first couple of rounds and everything will be wonderful. Give them one year and we can make them +10 to all existing stats. So more draft picks means more +10 superstars. Or perhaps he imported all of the players from the NCAA game in to Madden and then played them a couple years to see how they would turn out and that is how he is making all his draft selections. But then again when I traded Brandon Marshall I got a 1st round, 3rd round and a 4th round pick.

6. I hope it is a good draft but you never know until 3 years from now and hopefully in 3 years McD is GONE!!!!!

7. This cartoon isn’t be too far off from the truth. Broncos move up to draft Tebow and they could have taken him with either of their 2nd round picks. Ask yourself what team you would want the team that McDaniels is building or the one that Shanahan had 2 years ago. I will take that team.
