   Welker has always performed well in New England. He has a lot of heart and left it all out on the field. Thanks to the salary cap he became “expendable” and has found his way to denver. It remains to be seen if he thrived in a “system” or will continue to blossom in Denver.

   Just like Alex Smith to KC. He is the next big thing? KC pulled that in fans with Cassel and then did not follow up with any kind of offensive line or build much of a supporting cast for him and he fell flat in his, face.

   All things in time. we shall see.

2. Tom Brady and the Patriots averaged 17.6 points in 5 championship games with Welker on the field. Brady and the Pats averaged 28.4 points in 7 championship games prior to Welker’s arrival. The proof (or lack thereof) is in the pudding.
