   Great cartoon, Drew! I can feel Ralphie’s fear. Stanford is such a powerhouse team. One could always hope with the changes on the Buff’s defensive line, that something unexpectedly positive might happen for CU. The reality is that Ralphie is going to need a lot of WD-40 for his roller skates, because the “Lucky” Cardinals are going to fly right past the Buffs, and into the end zone tonight.

   the hill the buffs have to climb just gets more steep every week. they have to catch a break sometime- why not tonight?

   there are a lot of reasons to think something good may happen tonight. a victory- maybe thats asking too much. be competitive and make a game of it, buffs.

3. Unrelated note: love him or hate him (OK, we hated him), but Al Davis was one of the pioneers who dragged pro football kicking and screaming into the 20th Century. Hate the Raiders, but love the AFL.
