1. Wow! UNC has a basketball program that’s going to the Big Dance? Fantastic. I went there in 1983-1984 (military brat) and while I hated their quarter system (a pain to transfer credits to and from – we called it “UNC – University of No Credit”), it was a good school otherwise. Good luck!

2. Great! I am going to have to get a sweatshirt! It’s fun that they are in the same conference as Portland State, should have gone to a basketball game this year! It will be interesting to see what Big East team they will get to play. Nice dance moves. Drew, did you model for this one?

   (singing—–off key. To the C.U. Buffalo’s after their win over Kansas). You should be dancing YEA!!!!! Dancing YEA!!!!!

   The only thing better would be if someway, somehow tht C.U. and Northern Colorado could face each other in the first round. That would be NCAA heaven.

This is part of the problem with the Field of 68: those play-in games (let’s face it, that’s what they are) will be made up of minor conference champions, while the expanded field was just to give the 7th place teams from the ACC and Big East more slots in the Round of 64. Here’s Hopin NoCo can dish out a few bloody noses next week.

   congratulations to UNC-on a great season and a fantastic reward for all of your hard work- now if the Buffs make it in and by chance CSU would sneak in- then you could have the dancing bears, the spinning plates and Topogigio- NOW that would make the big dance a real show!!!!

7. Not to be overly critical, Louis, but wouldn’t it be better if UNC and CU met in the LAST round of the NCAA tournament? I can imagine the stories of Boyle facing his old team for all the marbles.

   UNC was overall a bad Division II basketball school when I was there. At least we had D-II Championship football then. I’m just thrilled to see the basketball team doing so well.

8. This is an exciting time for UNC. Enjoy it, because there is no time like the first time. A hunch tells me they might be very competitive depending on the matchup.
