Mile High Sports Magazine!

Uncategorized

So Here’s the Cool News! I’m on the cover of the June issue of Mile High Sports Magazine! And not just the cover. Inside I have a bunch of illustrations, my monthly full page cartoon and they even did an article about me complete with some Distant Replay cartoons like Karlis Uprights & the Elway-Sakic one. What an honor and an absolute blast it was to do the work for the issue. Mile High Sports Magazine can be found at newsstands and multiple restaurants and pubs around town. Give it a look, it’s a great magazine all about

Denver sports.

I’ll be updating the blog around noon today (Thursday) with a new cartoon about the Lakers- Celtics series. And on Friday morning I’ll have a new cartoon here and a different one over on ESPN.com as well. Staying busy in this line of work is a good thing.

  1. Very glad to read that you are so busy! I always appreciate your cartoons about Denver sports and am glad you are still doing them, even when you are so busy! 🙂

  2. Oh heck, yeah!!! Congratulations, Drew. The Tebow backpack/beanie combo rocks!!!

    Your stick-to-it-ness is paying off.

Two years in as an entre’tooneur and things are really rolling. Did you ever think you would be this successful while you were drawing ‘toons at the Rocky?

  3. Good Morning from Omaha,

What great news! Like the comments above, you’re ability to go out on your own is paying off, big time.

Hopefully you are making some money but it seems you are happy doing what you are doing and keeping both your body and mind occupied which spurs growth.

Congratulations on your continued expansion as cartoonist of note. You are plowing a new field and doing a fine job.

Strive for excellence, nothing but your best!

  4. Jon. It’s a cover illustration for their issue on Outdoor activities in Colorado. Tebow is dropping food along the way to attract the bear with out Elway or Chauncey knowing about it.

  5. I’m so very thankful for all of you who stop by and leave comments on the blog. You all are so AWESOME!

  6. Sherrie,

It’s John:7, a reference to Elway. I would’ve put 2 Corinthians 4:16-18(my favorite verse), but that was a little long.

  7. gmfo-

great hidden message! It was early when I saw it first. ONce again, great work!

  8. Thank goodness you didn’t use Corinthians, you would have driven us old folks blind.

  9. Dear Mr. Litton,

That cartoon gave me a good laugh which I needed at this moment. Thank you very much.
