NHL: It’s Never too Early
NHL and The Colorado Avalanche
It’s never too early to start hoping. The Avs have started quickly and look much improved. Enough to make the playoffs and a run to the Cup? Let’s catch the fever before it’s too late. I love doing NHL cartoons because Hockey fans are the most loyal in all of sports. And Avalanche fans are even better.
How will the Colorado Avalanche do this season?

Follow Me
Good morning from Omaha,
that cartoon reminds me of the first time every year, after it gets cold, that I get out the old blue jeans.
Every year I tell my wife, “I can still get into these 34’s”. and every year the jeans have shrunk during the summer in the drawer. By the end of the winter, yes they still fit better, but I am going to have to get the jean drawer fixed to keep it from making my jeans shrink.
Strive for excellence, nothing but your best.
Gene

Thanks, Drew!
Good Morning Everybody!
Your wish is my command! So, How about those Avs?
Hey Gene,
BTW. I know the same situation very well. For me it’s t-shirts. And, no, I didn’t stand in front of the mirror to draw this. But, well, you know….
love it! Tell you what, those kids for the Avs are playing like they don’t know they’re supposed to stink this year.
O’Reilly has been amazing, Duchene seems to be finding his groove too they have a fair amount of veteran leadership in Foote, Hejduk, Haanan, Tucker, Stastny and even Wolski.
Oh yeah, Craig Anderson has been lights out in net.
It’s going to be interesting to see if they can keep this up as the season progresses but right now they look like they can beat just about anyone on any given night
I’ve really enjoyed the season so far. Anderson has been great. The energy of the team has been wonderful. Nobody gives up on a play. Most fans just want to see the team they love put out a max effort and that hasn’t been an issue.
