1. Dear Mr. Litton,

   Thank you. Thank you so much for today’s cartoon. After a week of ad nausea about Tiger Woods this, and Tiger Woods that until I was ready to Tiger Woods BARF it was nice to see a drawing of something more important. A man named Phil Mickelson showing his love for his wife openly as she is battling cancer. This cartoon might mean even more to me since my own mother was diagnosed with breast cancer two weeks ago.

   If there is a sad or ironic thing about this situation, it is this. How many stories have we’ve been treated to about Tiger Woods yet until sunday I had never heard of a single story of Phil and his wife’s battle with cancer. A tale that deserved to be told.

   Now I’ll get off my soapbox.
