1. Dear Drew,

   I don’t understand the concept of this cartoon. Now the football player side I did get but the clown side has me confused. Now granted Dallas did blow that lead against Detroit but the Lions have come back a lot this season (which – personally speaking I like).

   One thing I’ve always liked is that you’d put the cartoons you draw into context. I wish I could figure out the context of this cartoon.

2. Good Morning from Omaha,

   two sides of the same coin. clown or cowboy, heads or tail, coke or pepsi ( now thats an oldie).

   drew must be a closet cowboy fan and upset with the way his “boys” are playing, Romo in particular. Unfortunately, except for Rogers and Brady most quarterbacks in the NFL have the same tendencies. when they go for all or nothing this is what you get. And with practice restrictions put in place with the new CBA the chances of it getting better are not good.

   Tony Romo is the quarterback for the Dallas Cowboys He is on the hot seat in Dallas because sometimes he plays really well one game and absolutely horrible the next. This last weekend he played great in the first half but was a complete train wreck in the second half. This cartoon is a depiction of how most people in Dallas, and throughout the league, view Tony Romo.
