  1. I agree Drew! I guess Brett doesn’t know the meaning of the word ‘Retirement’? if he did we wouldn’t be hearing his name mentioned in the news again.

  2. Drew,

I wholeheartedly agree that this on-again/off-again retirement scenario is just lame. It makes a great QB look like a manipulative twerp.

Better question before we crucify the guy… if we could, would we Broncos fans want him as our starting QB for the next year? If the answer is “yes” then maybe we should ease off him for wanting to continue to play. As for his manipulations, Favre should be flagged 15 yards and made to shave for being an annoying person.

  3. Good Morning from Omaha,

Brett said when he retired that this would be the first summer since he was 9 that he wouldn’t go to football camp.

He is like an old fire dog that responds to the clanging of the bell at each fire, he isn’t ready to quit it just yet.

He has dedicated his life to football for years and as my son says, he misses the smells and sounds of Friday nights and he hasan’t played for 5 years. He still misses it.

Just imagine after playing for 30 years, drew, how long have you been drawing, and all of sudden you have to find some other way to direct your energies. You feel you can still go out and get it done.

He looks like an indecisive fool and that could explain his interceptions.

Brett will only quit when he is hurt beyond repair and no one wants to see that happen.

Strive for excellence, nothing but your best.

  4. This may be the first editorial cartoon–on any subject–that I print out and have framed.
