Whew. Quite a busy 24 hours here in the Studio. Getting the cartoon on ESPN’s site, plus drawing multiple cartoons for various clients kept me pretty busy. An example. Average day at the Rocky Mountain News= 3 roughs, 1 final cartoon. Average day these days: 4 to 8 roughs, 5 finished cartoons plus color.

Thanks for the support yesterday. I appreciated it so much.

BTW. I’m not done with the Brady Quinn trade yet. stay tooned.

  1. I’m glad that I don’t have a fantasy baseball league, now that’s more work than a full time job. I just finished posting on facebook and on your page Drew. Technology is exhausting. I’m happy to hear of your new positions in the media. Congrats! You will do just fine! I am hoping to be employed by August, September the latest. Enjoy your new fone!

  2. March Madness has taken over our office. All work ceased. Phones left ringing. E-mails ignored. Fax machine out of paper. All that matters now is the bracket.

One office member last seen behind the file cabinet cackling something about his unbeatable picks.

Me, I only observe the madness, report it. I’d invite you but the brackets we use would not excite you…

  3. Good Morning from Omaha,

did the family bracket the other night. I think I have syracuse taking it all but does it really matter.

the best part of the family bracket is reconnecting with the family and the trash talk.

I like the cartoon drew. You have created your own monster but you seemingly thrive on deadlines.

Strive for excellence, nothing but your best.

  4. Good afternoon, I read this blog once, then lost it. Took me forever to come back and find it. I wanted to see what comments you got. Great blog by the way.
