Tales of the Tourists: Santa Rosa’s Slow Season

I love drawing cartoons for the Guadalupe County Communicator in Santa Rosa, New Mexico. I especially love doing these “Tales of the Tourist” episodes. this one is about what to do to attract new tourists during the slow times of the year. The reference to Deming is all about the Duck Races they have there every year, which, strangely enough, has become a pretty big deal.That and the giant Hailstone left over from Santa Rosa’s huge hail storm in the summer rounded out some fun topics for good fodder.
