Wow. What a difference a week makes. I’m not quite sure how Tim Tebow could play worse than last week (except for those final glorious 4 minutes) but he did. Even die-hard Tebow fans have to admit there are some pretty serious flaws in Tebow’s passing ability at the NFL level. The good news is he can’t possibly get any worse, can he?

  1. You also have to admit it would help if the receivers could catch a ball. You know the professional football rule, “It hits your hands, you had better catch it.” Too many dropped passes that could have got the offense in a rhythm.

  2. Good Morning from Omaha,

if it was just tebow that was bad yesterday you could point the finger at him. Unfortunately- the whole team was terrible. in spite of the fumble for a td and an interception for a td- the defense gave up 31 points. there were some bad passes and a lot of dropped passes. “no”show moreno- please. Not only does tebow have a lot of work to do, lord knows he does, but John fox should have thought twice about taking on this task.

Tebow will catch on to the game- its only his second start. Don’t take anything from the lions- that defense gets after it with a passion. Stafford has developed into quite a playmaker and has some really good weapons. they are a good football team.

Tebow is a work in progress. the bronco’s are a work in progress- they are slowly going to get better. Tebows youth is a symptom of a team in development. If he can survive this season and the bronco’s get a chance to draft a weapon or two the bronco’s will be on the road to success. You’ve got to play tebow so he will learn in real time. Orton would not have done much better and quinn… who knows.

They are what they are, a work in progress. Its painful to watch but I sat through the Herm years in KC. If you are a fan you are a fan through thick and thin. Right now the bronco’s are a broth- in time they will be a rich stew but it takes time for stew to thicken up.

Strive for excellence, nothing but your best.

  3. Drew, that came cause the Fins suck this Year badly. For normal they would have won the Game last Weekend but his Season they can`t win anything.

  4. Great comment Gene.

Fans have to remember it takes 3-5 years to build a quality NFL quarterback, not 3-5 games. Also, you need to have support around you, no one person can win it all or lose it all; as with yesterday, it was a TEAM loss. So forget this one, learn from it and go forward. We’ve all survived worse losses. In the final analysis–It is just a game, much bigger and more important things in life to get worked up about.

    Go Broncos, BEAT the raiders!

  5. The whole team looked bad from the coaches to the players , this team is young and old at the same time , we look to have some real good up and coming players but we have a number of just average players . In order for Tebow to succeed we need some great players at the skilled position on offense to counter his his inadequate passing .we can do it with Tim but we need to be more like the Steelers. There are very few great qbs in the league you’re lucky to have one ,like we were for many years even at that he needed great players around him . Peace out

  6. “Every time Tebow throws the ball, it looks like a fake punt.” – Drew Magary, Deadspin.com

  7. I’ve said it before and will say it again: the lockout did Tim Tebow no favors. He didn’t have a whole off-season of coaching that might have helped him with his fundamentals.

That said, does anyone remember Denver’s abysmal Super Bowl with the Washington Redskins? 35 unanswered points in the second quarter alone. It happens even to the best of teams, even on the world’s biggest stage. Keep working it, Tim.
