Cartoon drawn for ESPN.com

This is another Tebow/Brady cartoon of mine, this one from today’s ESPN. When I’m drawing nationally I have to take into account there are a lot more fans out there than just Broncos fans. Hence this toon is from the Patriots perspective.

  1. Drew, this cartoon works at the local level as well. The Broncos did take a beating/spanking but they will learn and resume the climb out of darkness and into the light.

  2. Good Morning from Omaha,

the patriots have “been there, done that”- several times. The bronco’s are seemingly on the way there. The lessons learned from sundays game will go a long way in teaching these young bronco’s what you have to do to be successful in the NFL.

Plus the Patriots did not go into the “prevent defense” when they had the lead. They played Pedal to the metal the whole game. The rest of the NFL was watching, and while they may not have the offense of the Pats- they learned how to defense the bronco’s by playing all 60 minutes of the game.

I don’t know much about the bills, they started off hot but then the league figured out how to slow them down and I think they have kind of hit a rough patch. The bronco’s should be able to beat them- but will they. Get McGahee back on the field as a running threat to keep the defense honest and the road will smooth out.

Still wanting to know what the deal is with Orton. Is he a moody qb when he is not the lead dog or is he more like the qb that showed up in KC on sunday.

Strive for excellence, nothing but your best.

    Gene

  3. Ouch, honesty hurts! Brutal, but honest.

Although you left out that Brady was wearing Dumervil-sized footprints on his hind-quarters after the game…
