1. Good morning from Omaha,

   IF they let the big schools have a play off, just like the little schools in class 2 and 3, we will finally be able to say we have a champion. My school, little Northwest Missouri State University, is once playing in the semi finals for div.2. They have been in the playoffs and played for the championship probably 12 out of the 15 last years.

   Just imagine any big time college coach walking into a recruits living room being able to say that, for real and not just the mythical national championship dreams. Oh you finished second in the big ten. great- and this team finished third in the pac 12 and this team finished 4th in the sec. how do you pick which team to play for when academics are all equal and to some, the academics don’t count.

   The NCAA can not say that the playoffs would interfere with classes as the smaller schools have been making playoffs work for years.

   Wil CU, CSU or NE ever be able to claim they are the best in the nation again. or even the best in their conference, or even best in their division? only time will tell. Northwest Missouri State can.
