Drew —
What’s it like drawing for another sport town after so many ears of following Denver teams?
good morning from Omaha,
nice cartoon, drew. someone has to put the lipstick on the pig that is the bears, with cutler.
way to go lovie why to go. to save the team the coach shoulders all.
strive for excellence, nothing but your best.
Gene
Atomic Leo,
It’s a blast drawing for the Tribune. Chicago is, like Denver, a very passionate sports town. That’s the big key to it. Fans who really follow their teams with emotion and long time family ties to the teams instills a loyalty way beyond the norm. Sports, as a whole, are generally debated more than our politics are. Chicago is just the right place. It will take me a little time to hit my stride but I’m looking forward to building a following there much like I have in Denver and, mostly, help the Tribune to sell a few more papers and attract a few more advertisers.
Why do you think we care about the bears?
I don’t care or not care about the Bears, but I enjoy Drew’s work and won’t pass up the opportunity to see it.
The more, the better.
