   when they say its not about the money, that IS what it is about.

   someone on espn said that when a guy goes from making $1B to making $10 million they notice.

   tiger now understands that the RULES apply to everyone.

2. Whether it’s politics or show biz or sports, that kind of narcissism seems to be de regeur. I guess when you have everyone around you telling you how great you are 24/7, it’s hard not to believe them?

I avoided listening to or reading about Tiger’s confession as much as possible, because one of my jobs at the San Antonio Express-News is to repurpose the Star gossip magazine for our Sunday paper. I know Tiger will be the cover story for next week, ad nauseam. He’s the only one who can push Brad-Angelina-Jennifer off the front.

   When the story of Tiger’s infidelity initially broke, I said that he and his wife just became the newest Jon & Kate (of “Plus 8” fame). This is why Congress doesn’t care what the middle class wants or needs; they know we’re too stupefied about the latest gossip scandal or reality show to pay attention.

4. Wow. Awesome comments everyone. Harry, I think you hit it right on the head. We get lost in the most mundane things, while the real important stuff just gets shoved underneath the clutter.
