Adios Tucson. It was fun while it lasted.

One of the perks I enjoyed during my years at the Rocky Mountain News were the nearly annual treks to Arizona I made to cover the Rockies during Spring Training. Tucson is a terrific town with a charm all its own and being at the ballpark on a sunny spring morning hearing the crack of bats and the sound of The Rascals “It’s a beautiful morning” wafting through the P.A. across the field will always be one of my life’s most cherished moments.
