1. Good Morning from Omaha,

   WOW, one game and its the end of the world. The same things are being said out of KC.

   It is the pre season. Orton has never shown the ability to be very good until his back is against

   the wall and Mickie D has given him too much cushion naming him the starter even before practice starts.

   That takes away the pressure of competition. Just like in KC where Ca$$le is the starter come what may.

   Croyle and even thigpen, yes that is his name, played better at times the Matt the rat but once again thats against the 3’s and 4’s .

   Same thing with Orton. put his back against the wall a little. Make him respond to the pressure some and then see how he does. Mickie D should spread the pressure he is under around a little to make it more bearable for him and a little less bearable for the team.

   Just remember, it is PRESEASON. If thing don’t look better by the third game you’re going to have problems.

   The fourth game is the final audition for the players on the bubble. Same as in KC. the third game is the predictor for the season.

2. Great cartoon, Drew! Yes, it’s only preseason but that has to be in the top ten NFL’s worst preseason performances of all time. If he does that in Cinci heads are gonna roll.

3. It wasn’t just Orton. The Defense gave up a TON of running yards to the 49er second string back. Not good.

4. Lock the doors, turn off the tv, go hide in a closet Orton is gonna make a pass. CLOSE YOUR EYES!!!! AGHHHHHH!!!! Ok its forth down come sit down the defense is on the field. News flash everyone!!! Lets get the Broncos 1 or 2 wins this year. Here is my big idea: Two words SAM BRADFORD!!! God I HATE the Sooners (Horns up) but GO BOOMER, BOOMER!!Throw the towel, give up, then the next year; make a come up and slap these teams around and like the tv show we will show “Who the BOSS?” later down the road, I hope. I am sick of other jerseys in mile high when I go to game, If they dont change soon. Sundays are gonna turn into movie sundays.

5. Oh I forgot(please dont take offense but I have a clean Vick joke. DId u all hear that the Eagles are gonna make Michael Vick the new punter on the team. Yeah , he already perfected the pooch kick!!!

   You forgot that the Broncos traded thier 1st pick to Seattle for drafting Alphonso Smith. If they only get one or two wins, then the Seachickens get Sam Bradford or whoever the best pick will be. Chicago would have to have a HUGE flop in order for Denver to get the top pick.

8. Awww man I totally spaced that the Broncos did trade that pick! We are really screwed now!!! No wonder the guy in Drew’s cartoon needs to be run over, he should lay any Cutler and Marshall jerseys insted. What a buncha FOO’S!!! Oh Drew the ironic thing about the beagle thing from Phhili is that I have a Beagle-Cocker Spaniel mix. He likes football and all sports!! He has a few sips of my beer and chillax’s and watches the games with me!! He also doesnt bark when I wear my Vick jersey neither should the rest of his critics. I cant wait to see the new Young Jeezy video with Vick in it too!!!!

10. Texans fan here and since I am kind of close to Denver because of our coach and all I figured I would put in my two bit. Firing Mike was a bad move. Josh McDaniels had a pretty easy job. Denver had a good offense last season so all there was to do is come in and address the defense issues. Instead he came in and pissed off the starting QB (who was a Pro-bowler) with talk about bringing in Matt Cassel whom he couldn’t get anyhow. He has created a bigger problem than was there to start with. Good luck Josh, you are going to need it.
