Broncos: Minefield ahead

Uncategorized

So far the Broncos have navigated the mounting injury issues of the preseason fairly well. Yet they seem but one step away from impending disaster. Knowshon Moreno is only a reported 80% healthy and the bigger issue remains how long Ryan Clady will sit and if the loss of Elvis Dumervil will finally catch up with the Broncos. Overall it’s made for a pretty nerve wrecking training camp.

  1. Good Morning from Omaha,

Both the chiefs and the bronco’s have been lucky during the preseason with injuries. Clady’s injury was a freak thing, while playing basketball- in a pick up game.

the chiefs lost a starting right guard O’Callahan during practice but that has been about it so far (knock on wood)

and there have been no real suspensions for bad behavior like at Pittsburgh and other places.

both teams are a work in progress. Hopefully in the race to the top of the NFL both teams will battle it out for the chance to be a top dog.

how are the buff’s going to do this year in their game against the Ram’s! Our son and daughter in law both are graduates of CSU, and are not going to be able to watch the game.

strive for excellence, nothing but your best!

  2. Gene,

I think the Broncos and Chiefs are going to be pretty evenly matched moving into the season. They both have a ways to go to compete for a spot in the playoffs but it should be a fun season regardless.

The Mile High Melee is always a blast to watch and seems to almost always be entertaining no matter how poorly the rest of the season goes for the Buffs and Rams. Hawkins is a lame duck coach moving into the season and I’m not sure how the team will look knowing they know that. Clearly it decimated the Buffs recruiting season. I think the Rams should be improved over a year ago. But I have to pick the Buffs to prevail because if I don’t my wife Marcia, who is a CU Alum might put me in the garage for the winter.

So there ya go. BTW. Got an extra spot in my fantasy league if you’re interested.

  3. The same can be said for any football team, college or pro.

One more thing – Who cares about Camp Rock 2? Football season….IT’S ON!!!
