1. Dear Drew,

   Sometimes I try to think what you will draw in your cartoons. Sometimes I’ve shared these thoughts with you via private e-mails though I try not to do it these days because your thought process is better than mine.

   When I was thinking about the C.U. vs Oregon game I thought it would be funny (in a sad way) to picture the duck being drawn like Groucho Marx with the mustache and cigar from his “You Bet Your Life” days with the C.U; Buffalo being dropped from the ceiling holding a placard that said “Oregon 45 – C.U. 2 and the Groucho Duck saying “The secret word tonight is massacre.”

   I don’t know if that would be a funny image but right now if I didn’t laugh about it I’d become depressed.
