Maryland’s new look

Ugly. Hysterical. Foolish. Clowns in Cleats. That’s just a few words to describe the new uniforms the Maryland football players are being forced to wear. And those of us in Denver thought striped socks were embarrassingly bad. Nothing to compare to these ridiculous uniforms.

  1. Ok for the record the Denver Broncos uniforms back when they started were bad. Maryland has a love affair with their state flag. Talk about sending the clowns. I hope the other team caught their collective breath from laughing so hard. Sure I like how college football likes to change it up and make nike make new uniforms. This is too much. First it was Oregon who is near nike and they try out their prototypes. Now it seems all the really big games now have to spice it up. I do give them a “E” for effort but get real. Stick with the classics. AS ALWAYS GO BRONCOS!!!!!!!!

  2. Well, those clowns sent “THE U” home with a fat L on their record….as long as they win, all the more power to them.

  3. Dear Drew,

The first time I saw those uniforms my first thought was,”Who designed those uniforms? Stevie Wonder and Ray Charles?”

    All the best

    Louis

  4. There’s loads of “worst uniforms ever” lists out there, yet I often times like the “worst uniforms ever”. These ones however are horrible, I can’t remember any jerseys that are worse.

  5. Maryland’s uniforms are bad, but not to the point of Oregon’s. But of course, Oregon fans can’t complain because Phil Knight won’t let them.

  6. I have to disagree: Maryland has a great state flag, and is justly proud of it (If you want a state that really goes overboard with theirs, look at Texas). I’d like them to stick with it.

  7. Drew, hope you don’t mind but I posted a link to this on a board over at d3football.com where this subject came up.
