You call that Instant?

Anybody how happened to catch the Bulls-Nuggets game the other night no just how long “Instant” Replay takes. 4 minutes. 4 minutes to decide if somebody got a shot off in .03 seconds. There for awhile it looked as if they were caught up in an episode of CSI or Dancing with the Stars. I’m surprised they didn’t get John Madden out there with the telestrator. Geez. Make the call already and run for the exits. It’s “Instant” Replay, Not an hour long board meeting.

  1. Good Morning from Omaha,

most of the time they get it right. the only one I have seen missed lately is at the LSU/alabama game with the interception at the sideline. that would take some time and the controversy still rages. You are correct, it shouldn’t take 4 minutes to figure most of the activity on the court or field out.

didn’t the sec suspend one set of officials for bad calls. maybe that should happen more often around the nation, even in the pro’s.

strive for excellence, nothing but your best.

  2. It took a long time because it was such a close call. Even today we don’t know in certainty that the Nuggets won the game. They can’t just look at it in a minute and make a call, they have to actually know.
