1. Good Morning from Omaha,

   good luck to the buffs in the pac 12 tournament. last years snubbing was a learning experience for them. there are just too many good teams out east this year. or too many teams out east with good reputations to allow for some of the better teams out west to get in.

   CSU is trying to get into the big dance by winning the Mtn west, even though they have beaten some quality teams and have a very good record this year.

   ONce again,good luck to the buffs!!

   Strive for excellence, nothing but your best.

2. I hope the Buffs can make it in this year, even though I feel like they had the better team last year. It would be nice if both CU and CSU were able to go dancing.

   Gene… heck ya! welcome back, man!!!! This post alone gives no idea of your brutal tribulations. Keep striving. As odd as it sounds coming only from internet postings, you are a guy who has changed my life. No matter how %^&%$ty things get, I keep saying “Strive for Excellence, Nothing But Your Best.” A few nights ago, I had to pull a 48 hour day. Every time I started whining to myself, I thought of you and your phrase. It dragged me through. Gene, I am sure I am at the end of a long line of people telling you “thanks” but thank you, man!!!

   Drew: no matter how things play out, think on this… the fact you added Gene to my life is invaluable to my current being. As weird as it sounds, the loss of the Rocky, your reinvention of yourself, and creation of this blog touched me in a way no one could have predicted. Gene’s phrase and his ability to survive the worst gave me courage in a horrible situation of my own. It doesn’t pay the mortgage, much less any one of your bills, but your ‘toons have had a massive effect beyond just entertainment. From the very bottom of my heart, THANK YOU!!!
