  1. Good Morning from omaha,

Injuries happen in every level of football. If you don’t go 100% in every play your chances of getting hurt multiply. What really irks me is that they charge regular season prices for pre season games.

there are proposals on the table to make it an 18 game season with only 2 preseason games. The players seem to think that 18 “real” games are too many but they are still playing 20 games in the season.

What with the limits on contact during practice, written into the CBA, the injuries continue to happen because the athletes are either not in “game” shape when they get into a game or they are still shaking off the rust by using contact during the game and not using proper technique.

The players know the risks and are willing to take the chance. It is scary to see players getting hauled off the field on a cart. You hold your breathe and pray the injury isn’t life threatening. After your little prayer, you leave it in gods hands and pray that the doctors have the ability to restore the player to full health.

thats the best you can do from the stands. Its not much but sometimes its the little things that make the most difference.

Strive for excellence, nothing but your best.

    Gene

  2. Good Website. You ought to think more details on RSS Feeds being a traffic origin. They bring us a nice amount of traffic

  3. I don’t know what the answer is, but I do know it’s not 18 regular season games. Leave it at 16 regular season games. And have them start on Labor Day Weekend; the SOONER the BETTER.
