  1. The NCAA is out of control and the lawyers are out of control and I just want to watch football!

  2. I remember just a couple of years ago: Dez Bryant, while with Oklahoma State, met with Deion Sanders – simply MET with Deion Sanders – and that was enough to get him suspended for the entire year.

College football couldn’t be a more entertaining sports experience – but the bureaucracy, cronyism and exploitation couldn’t be worse.

  3. Good Morning from Omaha,

The NCAA has become all about the money. As it has been pointed out the NCAA has been allowing schools to exploit the student/athlete for years and finally some one has called them out on this.

they have been selling replica jerseys with the athletes number and name on them for years and the student/athlete has been getting a full ride scholarship, injuries and an education but can’t so much as ask for a job without the rathe of the association coming down on them.

Now Johnnie football signs a few autographs, and yes it sounds like he did it for “free” and he is being investigated? sounds like the NCAA has become a mob like enterprise and they don’t want anyone cutting in on their business.

IF this continues the bigger football schools are probably going to start a super association and cut the NCAA out entirely, putting some of that money back into the student/athletes pocket.

The NCAA had better figure this out or their end will be coming.

Strive for excellence, nothing but your best.

    Gene

  4. Premier League starts tomorrow! NBC paid a quarter billion (with a B) to show it, topping ESPN and running Fox Soccer off the dial. Happiest Day in August for me!
