Taking a Day to Breathe

And maybe play some FIFA Soccer on the XBOX. Seriously, I’m taking a day to write scripts for next weeks Monday Night madness animation and finish up some other projects. I’ll be back on Wednesday Morning with a new one. Feel free to comment about the weekends craziness in football.

  1. Good morning from MN.

I’ve found that through the years FIFA I play a ton more than all other games, that’s doubly so thanks to the wonderfulness that is manager mode. I almost always start out with FC Kobenhavn.

That being said, I still have a PS2. I’m leary about getting a PS3 or XBOX due to the fact our internet is terrible, so the “mandatory” updates wouldn’t work.

  2. My favorite result of the weekend MUST be UCLA rolling into Austin and spanking the Big 12 Conference Godfathers. Sweet, sweet Longhorn tears…

B: If you dig the manager mode, try Football Manager 2010 (2011 comes out in Nov.)

  3. Thanks Badger.

I do know about that, I own a prior version. Sadly, I don’t have enough spare time for that; football manager is just too involved for me to spend just a little time with it, maybe when (if?) I get more free time I’ll go back to it.

  4. Have a great day, working or not!

Got to go to an Avalanche, Rockies, and Bronco game last week. The Av’s looked good for a while, mostly tired and not quite ready for the season, got to see the only Rockies game they won last week, I love Tulo. It was a good game and the Coors Light is so much colder in Colorado! What can we say about the Broncos? 4 tries from the 1 inch and you can’t score????? I so want to not blame Josh or Kyle……..a running game would have come in handy. But did not go to the game with high expectations, it was a beautiful day for a football game.

  5. Dear Mr. Litton,

My only thoughts on this past weekend revolve around the Colorado Rockies. I remember a couple of years ago when we went on that amazing Sept. run it was like we were on a rocket and we were hanging on for dear life. This year when it looked like we could overtake San Francisco, San Diego or both once again they hit that nitro only this time the rocket went into reverse with equal speed though once again we tried hanging on for dear life.

On a side note since his 17th victory Jiminez has had lot of bad luck too. He must be feeling like the coyote in a “Road Runner” cartoon trying to get his 20th win but something always go wrong and it blows up in his face.

    Those are my thoughts.

    All the best

    Louis
