The NFL’s shocking start

Uncategorized

It’s been a surprising start for the NFL. The Chiefs (Our pal, Gene, is cheering right now) and Bears are 3-0, the Cowboys and Chargers are 1-2 and the whole league seems topsy turvy. All in all, the surprises of the season sure are making it fun to watch and a blast to draw cartoons about.

  1. Good Morning from Omaha,

Its the law of averages! after being so bad for three to five years- after being so good for the late 80’s and 90’s it just figures they would turn around, sometime- unfortunately the Royals always get hot in late september just before the season ends! They have been bad for so long- over 10 years- that they are on the verge of being a dynasty?(if you believe in the law of averages)

Its a long season- yes I am excited about the start…the addition of weis and crennel have made a real difference for the chief- that and some young players that still love to play the game for the sake of the game.

My sister is really upset about the cowboys- she called from the TX state fair to brag that the ‘boys were beating up on The texans, and I can’t figure the Bronco’s out.

THey have a lot of pieces of the puzzle but just can’t put them all together at the same time. I think little Mickey D will figure it out in time.

The huskers and the chiefs are both playing _BYE_ this week so bike rides and weddings are in order- through in some yard work and I should be readdy to rest up by going back to work!

STrive for excellence, nothing but your best!

    Gene

  2. At this rate, it’ll be a Bears-Chiefs Super Bowl

(That’s so unusual? Who was picking a Steelers-Cardinals Super Bowl in 2008?)
